Me in ‘Vector Graphics and Illustration’ book
Just got this in the mail today – I totally forgot it was on the way! Much thanks to Steven Withrow, one of the authors of Vector Graphics and Illustration, for including me in his book and whisking me a copy off Amazon. The book is great – it’s not your run-off-the-mill computer manual. It is more of an inspirational tome, with concise information about how to use Illustrator to achieve specific effects, and a large selection of featured artists who work in Illustrator. The great part about the showcase is that it demonstrates the wide variety of looks that can be accomplished with the software, which hopefully puts to rest the idea of the tool as a one-trick pony. The book is available on Amazon US and Amazon UK.

It’s a nice book for beginners learning vector. I’ve a very short book review with some pictures of the book on my blog if anyone’s interested to check it out.
