I will be away from 24 Nov – 6 Dec on a trip back to Asia to visit relatives and friends in Singapore and Hong Kong. I am also attending the Business of Design Week conference in Hong Kong.
I will be checking my email periodically while I am away, though my internet access may be sporadic. Please allow extra time for replies! Thanks!

fall fare
An oldie but a goodie. It’s Fall!
So… I took the plunge and got myself a Cintiq. It’s expensive, huge, and hopefully the savior of my wrist. So far it’s been great to draw on. Here’s the setup as it is now. I think this is the best configuration I can get with my current studio. Click the photo to see the various parts on the table. The weird thing on the jar is my Huey pro calibrator which calibrates both monitors.
Another view of the table.
Yes, this mother is huge.
This was the original setup, which didn’t work quite so well for me and gave me a backache.
So since I now have a Twitter account I’m just posting the link everywhere. I’m still not sure about it, but we’ll see:
Got a new computer and installed CS3 on it. Tested out Illustrator and Photoshop. Spent couple of days getting everything back up and running. Still not too sure about all the new stuff, but I think it’s been configured to do what I need it to do. Wacom pressure sensitivity still drops in Photoshop; relaunching stills fixes it. Not sure why. By the by the girl was supposed to be in a chair, but I didn’t feel like rendering that out. Looks like a teacup to me!
Mucho thanks to the guys at Whored Canvas for doing an interview with me! Check out the other artists they’ve featured while you’re there.
I added some new plugin for making feeds. I have no idea what it does. Any explanations would be helpful. See, thing is, I don’t use feeds myself, I don’t know how they work, apart from that they show you new posts from the blogs you like. Somehow.

Zodikitties welcome you to the new…ish blog! I’ve switched to Wordpress, and hopefully will continue with it for a while.
Most of these posts were imported from Blogger, and are still pulling images from that blog. As a result, looking at post summaries may be a bit weird, but just click the individual post and everything should show up fine.
