One of my rare traditional media pieces, done in color inks, india ink, color pencil and acrylic. You can see the enlarged sketch behind, which was transferred with transfer paper to 18×24 watercolor paper. The original sketch was in my sketchbook.

This started as a sketch for a competition a website was running that involves movie monsters. Unfortunately I didn’t finish it in time for the deadline due to work. Now that I’ve got a bit more time, I decided to finish it up. Ink brush pen with digital colors.

On days where I hate everyone

To be honest, I don’t hate everyone, if only because it would be too exhausting to personally hold a grudge against every single human being out there.

That said, I do somehow find it quite easy to begrudge artists, particularly those of the abstract conceptual sort, and those who are too fashionable to be able to tell their toes from their arse. If you are one of these unlucky creatives, chances are you don’t know it, and thus will enthusiastically agree with my distaste. Oh well, life’s unfair. Anyway, my thoughts on the subject:
